About Old City Harbour

Tallinn’s Old City Harbour is the biggest tourism gateway of Estonia and one of the busiest passenger harbours in the Baltic Sea region, servicing over 10 million passengers a year during peak times. The harbour serves regular lines, cruise ships and pleasure crafts.

  • In terms of regular passenger traffic, the Old City Harbour is one of the traffic leaders in the world. Round the year regular lines to Helsinki and Stockholm are served. Two passenger terminals – Terminal A and Terminal D – service ferry passengers. The harbour also handles Ro-Ro.
  • Tallinn is a popular and one of the highest rated cruise destinations in the Baltic Sea with the Old City Harbour servicing over half a million cruise passengers each year. There is a separate cruise area and terminal in the Old City Harbour for servicing cruise passengers.
  • Old City Marina is also a part of the harbour complex. This modern marina serves recreational vessels and is sheltered from strong winds and waves.

With its location in the very heart of Tallinn, the harbour allows excellent access for passengers to the city centre and Tallinn’s medieval Old Town.
